4-H Club
Thanks for a great Christmas Party. We made holiday cards and had lots of cookies and apple juice. Listened to music and had an excellent time. On December 9, we are talking about Magnets. The older group should make a report or hand out or poster about magnets. Please bring magnets, metal cars and plan to experiment with force fields and discuss with energy magnetic attraction. |
4-H (continued)On January 23, Bring your mold or fungus to 4-H. Grow your bizarre mold or fungus and bring it in today. We will have microscope, magnifying glasses and we will be looking at our microscopic bacteria buddies. Look in your refrigerator under the vegetable bin or put some orange in a bowl with a lid or bread in a covered container. And, bring this to the meeting. Posters welcome. Reports are welcome. Do some research for both Science projects and have some fun. We like to share information. We will be holding meetings at Lisa's house for a while. Suzanne will be lead while Lisa is doing some educational work. E-mail if you are new and don't know the way to Lisa's.We have two groups the Cloverbuds (6-9) and Active H'ers (10-up). The older group and younger group will share knowledge this spring. Mothers stay and we all work with all the ages to have a wonderful experience.
The 4-H group is hands-on. Welcome to
join us. We usually would be meeting at the Mount Vernon
Unitarian church. But, we will be meeting at an alternate
location for a while.
Martin Luther King Jr. DayMonday, January 15 is Martin Luther King Jr. DayArt Mission 3Another job for the Advertising Agency for those of you who want a project. The sales on Whopper Drink have fallen. The CEO of the company is in the office with Madge DoRight demanding a new design for his canned drink and the carton that holds the twelve pack. What can you do to bring the drink sales up? Can you think of a sales promotion that will have people standing in line to buy Whopper drink? Draw cylinders. Make designs in Black and white and color. Those designs were due yesterday. Pull some hours and see who can have these on Madge DoRights desk first. Madge has authorized overtime. Good luck on your Mission! |
